I’m struggling to rebuild the discipline to write regularly about the subjects that matter to me. A decade-long diet of marketing language has warped my instincts. I find myself shaping conclusions before I’ve fully explored the questions behind them. That mode of writing exists to persuade – not to discover. It narrows possibilities until only one conclusion remains. Writing to think means following a thought wherever it goes, even if it’s awkward or inconclusive. This blog is my attempt to write to discover what I actually think.
